Soon after this deciding to take his music to a band format, influenced by the Australiana storytelling of Paul Kelly and the lyrical introspection of alt-rock groups such as The National.

2020 saw Finn string together a run of raucous headline shows across WA as well as opening for impressive names such as Siobhan Cotchin and Bobby Alu, and put out his sophomore single ‘Interstate Road’ which received high praise from local publication Around the Sound, who proclaimed it “A country infused ballad (that) may just become one of those songs remembered through time.”
