Indie-folk duo Jack The Fox, two school friends Angus Robb and Justin Lewis, humbly began their music journey writing songs and busking. Their natural ability to turn heads, captivate huge street crowds and scale the heights of Spotify’s streaming enormity with over 4 millions streams on their song ‘Brother’, has them fast becoming one of the most recognised and exciting live acts in Melbourne.

Robb’s magnetic, soulful vocals, reminiscent of Matt Corby, are complemented by the instrumental textures crafted by Lewis’s unique guitar style, slide guitar and percussive acoustic guitar “tapping” and stomps. The duo’s eclectic mix of style and dynamic allows Jack The Fox to take audiences on a musical venture which seamlessly builds from ambient folk and honest storytelling to upbeat funk and blues driven riffs.

The songwriting of Robb and Lewis was recognised in 2018 when Jack The Fox was offered and accepted a global publishing contract with Universal Music and more recently the pair were invited to participate in the prestigious Seed management Workshop by it’s founders John Butler and Danielle Caruana (Mama Kin).

Together, the pair create a memorable and unique sound and do it with a humility and approachability that belies their virtuosity.

This year Jack The Fox are back performing as a 5 piece band.
