Drop in and help create the Nannup Music Festival rug for Reclaim the Void, a collaboration between Vivienne Robertson and Wangkatha cultural custodian Kado Muir to lay a huge textile artwork made from rugs on country affected by mining. All materials provided. Weave, sing and listen to stories.
10.30am & 1.30pm:
Sharing story of Reclaim the Void and weaving instruction.
11am:
Sufi song to the women prophetesses (all genders welcome!!)
2pm
Story telling, followed by shared sacred song.
Both singing sessions are participatory, but it's also ok to come and listen. Song will also happen spontaneously through the day.
