Chrissie Parrott is a multi-awarded creative artist whose career spans over four decades she has worked extensively in the creative industries with an impressive portfolio. Her primary practice is in Dance, as dancer, lecturer, choreographer and Arts festival director, she has directed for theatre TV and film, designed set and costumes, taught multimedia and animation and creates large – scale digital artworks. Her creations have graced stages in Holland, Japan, UK, France, Korea, and major cities in Australia, earning her international acclaim.
Chrissie’s outstanding contribution to contemporary dance-associated arts has been significantly acknowledged by the presentation of the Sidney Myer Performing Arts Award, Swan Gold Award Sounds Australia Award, Western Australian Citizen of the Year 2000, Golden Key Society for high achievers, USA and a Centenary Medal,2 lifetime achievement awards,
State Living Treasure. In 2021 she was the recipient of an Order of Australia. Now residing in Nannup, Western Australia, Chrissie continues to inspire as a volunteer, dance educator, and committee member of Nannup Arts.

Multi award winning, internationally renowned dance artist Chrissie Parrott AO has created a rich and engaging performance filled with visual and aural beauty celebrating dance’s ability to foster community cohesion, uniting the communities of Nannup, Manjimup, and Northcliffe. Produced by Southern Forrest Arts, the project promotes cross-community and cross-regional collaboration. Musicians Dave Mann, Amanda Reynolds, and Bec Schofield will provide a haunting sound score. As a result, FLOW enhances the region’s cultural development, highlighting its potential as a hub for artistic expression and community engagement.
